Monza are interested in signing Claudio Echeverri of Manchester City for their return to Serie A. According to Corriere della Sera, Monza CEO Mauro Baldissoni commented that Echeverri is a similar idea to Como's deal with Nico Paz. Baldissoni stated that Monza are looking for players with whom they can win matches and profit from in the future. He added that the enhancement of the player is paid for, even if a large club keeps a counter-redemption clause. The CEO said that while he does not know what the outcome will be with Paz, it is an operation in which everyone will win, and confirmed that Echeverri is a similar idea.
