OFI has reached a verbal agreement to sign Christos Sielis, who was the primary choice of Christos Kontis to strengthen the team's central defense. The 26-year-old Cypriot center-back is expected to sign a two-year contract, continuing his career in the Greek league after previous spells with Panetolikos and Volos. The transfer is in its final stages. Sielis is expected to arrive in Heraklion shortly to complete his medical examinations, after which the club will make an official announcement.
