According to Nicolò Schira, Olympiacos turned down a bid of around €40 million from Brighton for Christos Mouzakitis during the last summer transfer window. The English club was reportedly willing to reach up to €80 million to acquire both Mouzakitis and Kostoulas. Mouzakitis, 18, was a key member in Olympiacos' Youth League victory.

Brighton is considering Olympiacos' midfielder Christos Mouzakitis as part of their scouting efforts.
