Pachuca has confirmed the signing of Christian Rivera, a 29-year-old Colombian midfielder who comes from the Brazilian club Sport Recife, with which he was relegated to Serie B in the previous campaign. The club paid 2.1 million dollars for the player. Rivera has previous experience in Liga MX, having played for Xolos de Tijuana and Gallos Blancos de Querétaro. He had joined Sport Recife in February 2025 and his contract there was due to expire on December 31, 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €1.50m.
