Christian Nørgaard Transfer from Arsenal to Brøndby
Christian Nørgaard has stated that he intends to return to his boyhood club Brøndby after his time at Arsenal, which he says will be his last club abroad. In an interview with the Danish outlet Bold, the 31-year-old Danish midfielder, who joined from Brentford in a £15m summer deal, discussed his future amidst limited playing time. Nørgaard confirmed his contract is for two years with an option for a third, adding that he would be happy to stay for the extra year if things develop well. He also said that if the move to Arsenal does not prove to be the right match, he will return home to Denmark after two years. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €11.00m. Before his move to Arsenal, several other Premier League clubs, including Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, were also linked with the midfielder.
