Christian Brüls appeared at the training field of Beveren after terminating his contract with Zulte Waregem. He is currently maintaining his fitness at Beveren, with the possibility of securing a contract.

Christian Brüls and Zulte Waregem have come to a mutual agreement to terminate their contract with immediate effect. It was reported that Brüls had been looking for a way to leave Zulte Waregem since the summer transfer window; however, no transfer was completed. Now a free agent, Brüls is in search of a new challenge, which is likely to be the last of his career considering his age. Brüls had joined Zulte Waregem in early 2023 from STVV and played a total of 47 matches for the club.

Zulte Waregem no longer counts on Christian Brüls and has moved him to Jong Essevee in anticipation of a departure. Brüls did not agree to terminate his contract, so Zulte Waregem will have to find a new club for him.
