KRC Genk is interested in Christiaan Ravych. HLN has reported that the 24-year-old Cercle Brugge defender is moving to the Limburg club. Genk is reportedly impressed by the Belgian's profile because he combines physical presence with footballing ability. His familiarity with the Belgian competition is also a factor in their interest as they want to strengthen their defense. Ravych developed at Club Brugge's youth academy before moving to Cercle in 2021. He established himself in the first team one year after his debut. A potential transfer is significant because he recently extended his contract with Cercle Brugge until mid-2027. There is no official confirmation of an agreement between the clubs. It is not yet clear if Genk will proceed with the transfer or if Cercle is willing to negotiate. According to Transfermarkt, the centre-back has a current market value of €2.50m.
