U.S. Lecce has announced on its official channels the temporary transfer of the rights to the sports performances of Christ-Owen Kouassi to Stade Lavallois M.F.C., a move also reported by Tuttomercato.

Owen Kouassi is returning to Laval on loan. The 22-year-old central defender, who also holds French citizenship, is rejoining his former club, which he had left last summer to sign for Lecce in Italy for one million euros. The Ivorian U21 international, who has one cap, has participated in five matches since the season began, with four in Serie A and one in the Italian Cup. His return serves as a reinforcement for his training club, which is 17th in Ligue 2, three points behind the team in the relegation play-off spot and six points away from the first non-relegation position. His contract with Lecce runs until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current valuation is €1.20m.
