Chris Wood Transfer from Nottingham Forest to Olympiakos Piraeus
Olympiacos are considering their options. If an agreement is not reached with their striker Ayoub El Kaabi, whose contract is in its final six months, 34-year-old New Zealand centre-forward Chris Wood could be considered as an alternative. Wood has previously left open the possibility of playing in Greece, having stated in autumn 2023 that the country has a very strong league with teams like Olympiacos and that a good relationship exists due to the president. The Nottingham Forest player's contract runs until June 2027, and he has a current market value of €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Wood has scored 45 goals in 88 appearances for New Zealand. Leeds United have also been linked with the striker.
