Tranmere Rovers have signed 21-year-old English winger Charlie Veevers from Burnley on a one-year contract. Veevers spent a decade in Manchester United's youth system, followed by two seasons each with Swansea City U21 and Burnley U21. He impressed the club after joining them for training and scored in a friendly against Bootle. In the 2025/2026 Premier League 2 season, he made 14 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Manager Darrell Clarke stated that the club was very pleased to sign the player, noting his excellent potential and strong desire to improve. Clarke also said that they look forward to helping Veevers develop and that he will add strength and competition to the squad. The player expressed his delight at joining the club, which he described as massive, and stated he was eager to contribute to the team's success.
