AIK announced that Charlie Pavey has signed a new contract until 2030. Pavey, an 18-year-old full-back with both Swedish and English nationality, began this season as a starter and played in five Allsvenskan matches before becoming unavailable due to injury. Pavey expressed gratitude for the contract extension with the club, which he described as the one where he was born. Recruitment manager Miika Takkula stated that the contract extension shows both parties are committed to a long-term development plan. Pavey joined AIK in January 2025 and has made three appearances for the Sweden U19 national team. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.00m.
