FT reported on Friday evening that Borussia Mönchengladbach has agreed to a permanent transfer of Charles Herrmann to Belgium. According to Sky, Herrmann is moving to Cercle Brügge and the transfer fee is one million euros plus possible bonuses.

According to FT, Borussia Mönchengladbach wants to loan out 20-year-old winger Charles Herrmann before the transfer window closes. The plan will be moved to the summer if no club shows interest and is able to provide Herrmann with playing time at a more advanced level during the latter part of the season. Herrmann has a contract with Mönchengladbach that runs until 2028.

Charles Herrmann, aged 20, made his Bundesliga debut under Eugen Polanski, aged 39, on matchday 4 in Leverkusen in a match that ended 1:1. The next step in his development has not yet occurred and is now expected to take place during a loan spell.
