Vasco da Gama rejected two separate offers of 5 million euros for Cauan Barros from Torino and AEK Athens. The board of Vasco considers Barros a key player and will only negotiate if a bid reflects his sporting and economic potential. Galatasaray had also inquired about the player. From a Greek perspective, however, it remains unclear whether AEK actually submitted the €5 million offer mentioned or if their interest was merely exploratory.
