Carlos Ohene leaving Levski Sofia?

Sportal.bg reports that a Ghanaian player is close to a transfer to Lokomotiv (Sofia), where he will be reunited with Stanislav Genchev.

According to "Tema Sport", Lokomotiv (Sofia) wants to sign Carlos Ohene from Levski during the winter break, with the club wishing to acquire the midfielder now. The player's contract with Levski runs until the summer of 2026, and he will be allowed to negotiate with other clubs starting in January. According to informed sources, Stanislav Genchev, the head coach of Lokomotiv (Sofia), strongly wants the player in his squad. If an agreement is reached with Levski now, a symbolic fee will have to be paid by Lokomotiv (Sofia).

Levski's leadership is set for discussions today with Patrick Mislovic, Fabio Lima, and the 32-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Carlos Ohene, all of whom are considered surplus to requirements. The club has been attempting to part ways with the trio but has so far been unsuccessful. With the Bulgarian transfer window closing at 23:59 on Monday, the club's objective is to resolve the future of at least one of them. Ohene, who is currently sidelined with an injury, was also not included in the squad for the last game. The arrival of Akram Buras seems to have eliminated any place for him on the team. Ohene's contract runs until June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €600k.
