Bayer Leverkusen has shown interest in 22-year-old Portuguese winger Carlos Forbs. Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and some top Turkish clubs have also made inquiries, following earlier interest from ACF Fiorentina. It was reported that Forbs blocked the approach from Fiorentina and expressed a desire to stay in Brugge. Although Club Brugge initially had no intention of selling the player, the club is now willing to negotiate for a bid of at least €30 million. Forbs joined the club in July 2025, has a contract that runs until 2029, and has made 21 appearances for Portugal's U21 team, scoring 5 goals.
