Jagiellonia Białystok's sporting director, Łukasz Masłowski, has acknowledged the club is monitoring Lechia Gdańsk's 22-year-old Colombian winger, Camilo Mena. Speaking on Ekstraklasa TV, Masłowski noted that the player would be a good fit for the team's system. He also lamented Jagiellonia's inability to sign Mena permanently after a loan from Latvian club Valmiera in the spring of the 2022/2023 campaign, after which the player signed with Lechia. The sporting director feels Mena's progression would have been faster at Jagiellonia. Over the summer transfer window, Lechia Gdańsk turned down all approaches for the winger, including a two million euro offer from Norway's Molde that was considered below their valuation. In May, Lechia's sporting director, Łukasz Chodorowski, had indicated the club was seeking a fee greater than 2.5 million euros for Mena. The player is contracted to Lechia through June 2028, with Transfermarkt listing his current value at €1.80 million. Legia Warszawa has also been mentioned as another club interested in the winger.
