Callumn Morrison Transfer from Linfield to Dunfermline Athletic

Dunfermline have signed Callumn Morrison from the Northern Irish side Linfield for an undisclosed fee. Morrison, a 26-year-old Scottish player and former Falkirk winger, has signed a contract for two and a half years. The transfer was preceded by speculation last month that linked Morrison with a move to Dunfermline. Morrison had moved to the Belfast-based club from Falkirk last February. Morrison had previously spoken about the difficulties of relocating across the Irish Sea without his family. When the transfer link was addressed, Athletic assistant boss Iain Brunskill commented that Morrison was a player who had performed particularly well, but that he did not believe it was their role to speculate on players from other teams. Prior to the signing, manager Neil Lennon revealed on Thursday that the club was potentially close to acquiring a forward, and Morrison has been confirmed as that player. For Linfield in the current Premiership season, Morrison made 12 appearances and scored 2 goals. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €200k.
