Kent Madsen, CEO of Silkeborg IF, stated that the best terms for Silkeborg were those offered by AGF, which were very concrete, and that it was clear Callum McCowatt also wanted the move. There were two other concrete offers, but they were not equivalent to AGF's. Direct negotiations with AGF, represented by Carsten V. Jensen, and existing relationships were factors in completing the deal. Logistical convenience also contributed, as AGF representatives could travel to Silkeborg without difficulty to finalize the agreement.
