Luton Town have signed 21-year-old Northern Ireland international Callum Marshall from West Ham United for an undisclosed fee on a long-term contract. The signing occurred despite interest from other clubs. The forward gained notice following a season-long loan at League One club Huddersfield Town, where he scored 10 goals and was named their player of the year. He also spent time on loan in the Bundesliga with Bochum. Manager Jack Wilshere stated that Marshall's character, in addition to his ability, convinced him the player was suitable for the squad. Wilshere said that from their first meeting he knew of Marshall's desire for success. He added that other clubs were also interested, but he was pleased Marshall had chosen Luton, and felt the club matched the player's ambition. Wilshere also stated he had been aware of the striker since Marshall scored against his Arsenal team in the 2023 FA Youth Cup final. Marshall made 2 Premier League appearances for West Ham last season and has a current market value of €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
