Dender's top scorer, 25-year-old Belgian-Angolan centre-forward Bruny Nsimba, has received a proposal from Cercle Brugge where he could reportedly earn more than at Standard, another interested club. Sudpresse reports that Nsimba is hesitant about the offer from Standard. Standard first made contact at the end of December to address their goal-scoring issues. Standard is financially limited, is said to be unwilling to enter a competitive bidding process, and has presented a non-negotiable contract proposal. The club hopes its sporting project and the presence of Nsimba's former coach at Dender, Vincent Euvrard, will persuade the player. His contract with FCV Dender EH is set to expire on 30/06/2026, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.00m.
