Bruno Fernandes: Manchester United Contract Extension
Manchester United will need to offer a significant contract to retain Bruno Fernandes this summer, as the United hierarchy is very anxious to prevent his departure. The Mirror reports that club executives will need to present Fernandes with a package worth around £400,000-a-week, which would make him the top earner. This would be a substantial increase from his current contract, which runs until 2027 and has an option for a 12-month extension. It is not clear whether United would be prepared to offer such terms to a player in his thirties.
