A scout from the Turin club was present at the Genoa-Lazio match to observe him, and while that performance was not considered particularly positive, a subsequent impressive display against Napoli has convinced Juventus to continue monitoring him in the coming weeks. The club is seeking a reinforcement on the right, and Norton-Cuffy is viewed as a young, promising solution who would be ready for Igor Tudor's system. Genoa does not intend to sell the player before the summer, and it is understood that a bid of at least €10-12 million would be necessary, a price that could rise if his form continues. A potential deal could be aided by the possible future arrival of Marco Ottolini, Genoa's current sporting director, at Juventus. It was Ottolini who signed Norton-Cuffy from Arsenal for approximately €1 million plus €2 million in bonuses, which also included a resale clause for the English club.
