Atlético Madrid are reportedly among several clubs monitoring Sunderland player and Netherlands international Brian Brobbey following his performances at the 2026 World Cup. The Spanish club, along with Juventus and Stuttgart, are tracking the 24-year-old. A number of Premier League teams are also believed to be considering approaches, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Aston Villa all named as being interested. However, Sunderland state they will not sanction a sale for the striker, who is under contract until 2029, as the club has qualified for the Europa League. No official approaches have been made yet while teams continue to track Brobbey's performance at the World Cup. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, Brobbey scored seven goals and provided one assist in 31 appearances. The forward, who has 14 caps and three goals for the Netherlands, has a current market value of €30.00m according to Transfermarkt.
