According to Football Insider, Johnson might be allowed to leave in January on a permanent or a loan deal. Johnson has 42 caps and 7 goals for Wales and has made 15 appearances and scored 2 goals in the Premier League this season. Recent reports from December 2025 state that Tottenham's asking price is around £50 million. The fee for his transfer from Nottingham Forest in September 2023 was widely reported to be €55 million.
