AEK is considering Bilal Nadir, a 22-year-old Moroccan and French central midfielder, as a replacement for Orbelin Pineda. Nadir is a free agent since his contract with Marseille concluded. The player has a market value of 7 to 8 million euros. It was reportedly on the recommendation of Malfitano, who is now AEK's chief scout, that Nadir was promoted to Marseille's first team. Nadir has had an offer from Ribalta for some time, although he also possesses offers from other teams in Germany, France, and Spain. He has yet to be capped by the Moroccan national team.
