Besfort Zeneli has left Elfsborg and has been sold to Belgian top club Union Saint-Gilloise. Stefan Andreasson, the club manager, told Elfsborg's website that the deal with Union St Gilloise will be their biggest ever in terms of the overall agreement and that Besfort is their own player. According to the Belgian newspaper l’Avenir, the club is paying around 48 million kronor plus bonuses for Zeneli. Zeneli told Elfsborg's website that moving to a club in Europe is a very enjoyable experience and that it is something he has dreamed of since childhood.

According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Besfort Zeneli will leave Elfsborg for Union SG. The 23-year-old Swedish international is already in Belgium. Unless there are last-minute changes in his medical and physical tests, Zeneli will sign with Union SG until mid-2030.

Besfort Zeneli is transferring to Union St-Gilloise. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have definitively reached an agreement over the transfer. Zeneli is expected to undergo a medical examination at Union St-Gilloise in the coming hours.

According to Expressen, the transfer of 23-year-old Besfort Zeneli to Union is almost complete, as Union is close to reaching an agreement with his club Elfsborg. The same source states that the Brussels club would pay approximately 3.7 million euros for Zeneli, with the transfer fee having the potential to rise to just over 5.5 million euros with bonuses. Separately, Anel Avdic reported that IF Elfsborg is close to selling Besfort Zeneli to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. Avdic also reported that the Belgian champions are expected to pay around 40 million kronor for Zeneli, with the total value rising to 60 million with bonuses.
