According to AKŞAM, Fenerbahçe, which plans to sign a domestic goalkeeper due to the foreign player quota, has identified Berke Özer as the strongest candidate if Ederson leaves, but the French side Lille does not want to sell the 26-year-old goalkeeper.

Fenerbahçe management intends to sign a local goalkeeper due to challenges with the foreign player quota. Should Ederson depart, 26-year-old Berke Özer from Türkiye is identified as the primary candidate. It is reported that Ederson's agent, Jorge Mendes, is seeking a new club for the player, and Juventus is considered the most likely potential destination. Fenerbahçe has initiated preliminary contact for Özer, who joined Lille last summer for €4.5 million. The club initially had a right to 40% of Özer's transfer fee, but a subsequent agreement between the clubs resulted in Fenerbahçe retaining 20% of his rights. Formal negotiations with the French club are contingent on Ederson's sale being completed. The Turkish international, who has two caps for his country, has a contract with Lille until 2029 and has a market value of €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
