Ben Godfrey has joined Danish top-flight side Brøndby IF from the Italian side Atalanta on loan until the end of the season. The loan agreement includes an option for Brøndby to make the move permanent.

According to Mike McGrath via X, Ben Godfrey is set to join the Danish side Brondby. Godfrey's loan spell at Sheffield United was terminated by SUFC. He made four appearances for Sheffield United before being sent back to Atalanta. Godfrey is expected to return at the end of this month from a knee injury he sustained in October.

Brøndby IF is nearing an agreement to sign 28-year-old English defender Ben Godfrey on a loan deal for the remainder of the season. The player is currently under contract with Atalanta, who acquired him from Everton in the summer of 2024 for a fee that the BBC reported was ten million pounds.
