Bazoumana Touré Transfer from TSG Hoffenheim to Newcastle United
Bazoumana Touré, a 19-year-old winger from Cote d'Ivoire, has attracted the interest of Newcastle United, which has begun initial background checks and data-driven scouting on the player. Scouts from England have been particularly impressed by Touré’s ability. Premier League clubs are aware that strong performances on the international stage could increase competition to sign him. Despite growing speculation, Hoffenheim is determined not to sell in January. There have been reports of potential bids of around €35 million. Internally, Hoffenheim is believed to value Touré closer to €44–45 million. Touré currently earns around €840,000 per year, and a move to England would include a significantly higher salary. According to sources close to the situation, the most realistic scenario is increased contact in January rather than a completed transfer. Clubs are expected to formalise their interest, continue scouting, and establish their position early, with the most critical period of competition for the player likely to occur in the summer. The Ivory Coast international, who has one cap, joined Hoffenheim from Hammarby in February 2025 for a reported €10 million, and his current contract runs until June 2029. In the current Bundesliga season, he has registered 2 goals and 5 assists in 14 appearances.
