Bakary Sonko, an 18-year-old and 195cm tall representative for the Senegal U-17 national team, has confirmed he signed a contract with Lechia Gdańsk, which the club cannot yet announce for formal reasons. The player has been training with the team for several days and is considered a prospect for the future. Lechia had already signed a contract with a player who could eventually replace the team's current star striker. Sonko recently participated in the U17 World Cup in Qatar, where he scored a hat-trick against the United Arab Emirates.
