Azzedine Ounahi Transfer from Olympique Marseille to Spartak Moskva

Gazzetta.gr reports on Marseille's failed attempt to transfer Azzedine Ounahi to Spartak Moscow. Marseille believed they had reached an agreement with Spartak Moscow for a 12 million euro transfer fee for Azzedine Ounahi. However, Ounahi rejected the offer as he does not wish to play in the Russian league.

Moroccan international midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, 25, has reportedly declined an offer from Spartak Moscow, indicating his disinterest in joining the Russian club. Despite Spartak's pursuit, Ounahi, who was on loan at Panathinaikos last season where he revitalized his career and was chosen by fans as the club's best player, is exploring other options. Girona also submitted a low offer which Marseille turned down, as they are holding out for €12 million. In the meantime, Panathinaikos remains eager to re-sign Ounahi and is preparing a new proposal, utilizing funds from the sale of Giorgos Vagiannidis to Sporting for around €15 million. Ounahi is contracted with Marseille until June 30, 2027, with his current market value assessed by Transfermarkt at €10 million.
