Gigi Becali stated that if Renovatio gives him 500,000 euros, he will give him. Gigi Becali said he told Mihai Stoica to ask for 500,000 euros for Aymen Boutoutaou, a 25-year-old Algerian and French winger, and that he would accept a loss of 800,000 euros. Boutoutaou only joined FCSB in July 2026 from Sochaux for a confirmed fee of €1.0 million, although reports mentioned the owner claiming to have paid up to €1.35 million. The player, who has one cap for Algeria U23, is under contract until June 2029 and has a current market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €800,000. He has also been linked with other Romanian clubs, including Universitatea Craiova, Rapid Bucuresti, and Dinamo Bucureşti.
