The deal was confirmed by Sacha Tavolieri, stating that Charleroi and Dender reached an agreement on Monday for €1.7 million, including bonuses. Scheidler is expected to arrive at Mambourg for his medical examination at the beginning of the week to finalize the transfer. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is estimated at €1.8 million.
