Assane Diao Transfer from Como to Nottingham Forest
Marca reports on Nottingham Forest's unsuccessful bid to acquire Assane Diao from Como. Nottingham Forest made an offer of 45 million euros for Assane Diao, but it was rejected by Como.
Nottingham Forest is reportedly interested in acquiring Assane Diao to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Champions League. The club is said to be ready to make an offer of 40 million euros for the 19-year-old player from Ndongane. This proposed offer follows just 100 days after Como acquired Diao for 12 million euros. The transfer was officially completed on January 7, marking the most expensive deal in Como's history at that time. Since his move to Italy, Diao has significantly advanced his promising career, opting to play for the Senegalese national team and making a notable impact at Como with six goals and an assist in 14 matches, which has helped the club to be nearly safe from relegation.
