Artur Szach, a 21-year-old Ukrainian centre-forward from Karpaty Lviv, joined Lechia Gdańsk on loan as part of significant changes to the squad during the summer. The loan agreement for Szach, along with other players who arrived, includes a buy option. Club president Paolo Urfer confirmed that some of these purchase options have already been activated. Urfer also explained that these expenses were planned in advance and that the club had structured the terms for potential permanent transfers for the next summer. The player has three caps for the Ukraine U21 team and his current market value is €700.0K.
