The Belgian international is seeking a move away from the club, where his contract runs until 2029. Theate, who has 33 caps and 1 goal for Belgium, joined Frankfurt in February 2025 and made 24 Bundesliga appearances in the 2025/2026 season, contributing one goal and one assist.
