Arthur Masuaku Transfer from Sunderland to Lens
According to L'Équipe, Sunderland's Arthur Masuaku is expected to join Lens at the beginning of next week on a six-month dry loan. Lens was seeking to recruit an experienced defender familiar with Ligue 1, and the Congolese international, who has ten years in professional football, fits this description. Masuaku was injured during the Africa Cup of Nations but is now fit to play.
According to reports, 32-year-old DR Congo international left-back Arthur Masuaku is expected to join RC Lens on a six-month loan to replace Deiver Machado, who departed for Nantes in early December. Masuaku signed a two-year contract with Sunderland last summer after arriving as a free agent from Besiktas. He is considered fit to play. The defender has 42 caps and 4 goals for his country and has made three Premier League appearances this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
