Following their league championship, Galatasaray has started planning for the next season, with a particular focus on strengthening their midfield based on a list provided by manager Okan Buruk. The club has consequently taken action to sign Arthur Atta from Serie A side Udinese. Galatasaray is preparing to make an offer for the 23-year-old French midfielder that includes a transfer fee plus Victor Nelsson in a swap deal. Atta, who has been capped six times for France at the U20 level, joined Udinese in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2029. Other clubs, including Inter, Everton, and Napoli, are also interested in him. Recent reports from May 2026 state that Udinese's asking price is a base of €40 million. This follows reports that the club rejected bids from Fulham valued between €20 million and €21 million in January 2026.
