According to Index.hr, Arnel Jakupović is one of the players who could leave Osijek, as the club is negotiating his transfer with Greuther Fürth.

Germanijak reports that although Arnel Jakupović was frequently linked with a move to Greuther Fürth in recent days, the transfer did not happen. Osijek had hopes of earning money from Jakupović, who is in the last year of his contract, but those hopes were not fulfilled.

Sportske Novosti reported that Arnel Jakupović was not injured but was not included in the squad list for the match against Slaven Belupo, which the publication noted could indicate an imminent transfer to Greuther Fürth. Osijek has set a transfer fee demand of 500,000 euros. This amount is apparently acceptable to the German second division club. Jakupović is in the final year of his contract with Osijek.

Arnel Jakupović is nearing a departure from Osijek, with Greuther Fürth from the 2. Bundesliga reportedly having a serious interest in the 28-year-old forward. Information from Germany indicates that Fürth is prepared to offer Jakupović a two-year contract. While there were reports that Osijek might allow Jakupović to leave without a fee, Germanijak reports that Osijek is demanding half a million euros. It is reported that Jakupović does not object to a move to Bavaria. He had offers this summer from Sarajevo, Celje, and a Greek first division club, which apparently did not meet his ambitions.
