A transfer for striker Arnel Jakupovic to SpVgg Greuther Fürth is progressing, with negotiations reported to be at an advanced stage. The 28-year-old Austrian, who also holds Bosnian-Herzegovinian nationality, is expected to be offered a contract until 2028 with the 2. Bundesliga club. Jakupovic, who has scored two goals in the first four games of the season, is currently with Croatian club NK Osijek, where his contract has one year remaining. He joined the club in August 2024 and is valued at €800k by Transfermarkt. The forward has not been capped by Austria at a senior level.
