Arnel Jakupović, an Austrian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian striker for Osijek, received offers this summer from Sarajevo, Celje, and a Greek top-flight club, but these were apparently not in line with his ambitions. The 28-year-old, who joined the Croatian club in August 2024, is now reportedly close to leaving his club, with Greuther Fürth from the second Bundesliga showing serious interest. According to information from Germany, the Bavarian club is ready to offer Jakupović a two-year contract, a move he is said to be open to. While there were suggestions Osijek might let him go for free to clear his salary from their budget, the club is seeking a fee of half a million euros for the player. His contract runs until June 2027, and his current market value is €800k, according to Transfermarkt.
