Arnaut Danjuma Transfer from Villarreal to Trabzonspor

Mundo Deportivo reports on Danjuma's decision to reject a move to Trabzonspor. Danjuma recently rejected signing with the Turkish club Trabzonspor. Despite his good performance in friendlies with Villarreal, including a goal against Arsenal, and his ability to perform well when played as a forward by coach Marcelino, he decided against the move to Trabzonspor.

Arnaut Danjuma, a 28-year-old winger who played on loan at Girona last season, is being targeted by Trabzonspor as an alternative after the Boga transfer process did not progress well. Danjuma has one year left on his contract with Villarreal and is currently hesitant about joining Trabzonspor. The club is actively trying to convince him, and the Spanish press has reported that Trabzonspor has made official attempts to secure his transfer. There are also 3-4 other candidates for this position.

Trabzonspor is considering signing Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal. Initial discussions have occurred, but Danjuma reportedly has some hesitations about moving to Turkey. Further talks are anticipated this week. Danjuma, who has one year remaining on his contract with Villarreal, was acquired from Bournemouth in 2021 for a reported fee of €23.50m and spent the previous season on loan at Girona. The Turkish club is keen to enhance their left wing options, having faced difficulties in securing their preferred signings for that position. Danjuma, a 28-year-old Nigerian-born Dutch winger, has a current market value estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.00m. He played 37 matches for Girona last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. In addition to interest from Turkey, he has also been linked with PSV. Trabzonspor's management is committed to convincing Danjuma to join by exploring all available options.
