Kalamata announced the acquisition of Argyris Liatsikouras on loan from Olympiacos. The 19-year-old Greek midfielder joins Kalamata as part of a loan deal. Kalamata's official statement described Argyris Liatsikouras as a modern box-to-box midfielder and welcomed him to the club. It had been previously reported on June 21 that Kalamata would sign Argyris Liatsikouras. Liatsikouras joined Olympiacos in July 2025 and is under contract until June 30, 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 17 appearances and scored two goals in the Super League 2, adding another five appearances in the league's play-offs.
