AC Milan midfielder Ardon Jashari is listed by RB Leipzig as an alternative if they do not sign Reitz. It is reported that the Serie A side paid over €35m to Club Brugge for Jashari in August. Jashari has a contract until 2030 and could cost more than Reitz. For now, Leipzig will continue to monitor Jashari, should they need to move to a second choice.

RB Leipzig are prioritising the signing of a midfielder, with Rocco Reitz of Borussia Monchengladbach being their main target. However, the club is unwilling to meet his expected price of €25m to €28m. It has been suggested that if a deal for Reitz does not happen, Ardon Jashari of AC Milan and Arne Engels of Celtic are alternatives being considered by Leipzig.
