According to ABC, Real Betis rejected an offer worth more than €50 million for winger Antony from an unnamed non-Premier League club with significant financial resources. The reason for the rejection by Betis is the deal agreed with Manchester United last summer, under which the Seville club signed Antony for €22m. That agreement included a clause giving Man Utd 50% of the profit from the winger's subsequent sale. Therefore, from a €50m transfer, Betis would receive a net profit of only around €14m, an amount the club's chiefs deem to be insufficient.

Antony has been associated with a potential transfer from Real Betis this summer. Offers have been made for the Brazilian attacker, and the Spanish club recently rejected an approach valued at €50 million. At present, Real Betis is not willing to approve his departure.

Antony, a 26-year-old Brazilian winger, is the subject of interest from clubs in five different top leagues. His market value is currently estimated to be around 40 million euros. The winger is under contract in Sevilla until mid-2030. He joined Real Betis in September 2025 and has made 16 appearances for Brazil, scoring two goals.
