The Spanish side Burgos considered signing 22-year-old Croatian defensive midfielder Antonio Maurić from Istra 1961 in the final days of the transfer window. The deal was not completed, and Maurić will remain at Istra, where he has been since July 2022. Maurić is a Croatia U21 international with three caps and has a contract with the club until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €800k.
