According to Nicolo Schira, Cesena, whose sporting director is Andrea Mancini, is attempting to sign Mantova's 23-year-old Italian offensive winger, Antonio Fiori, ahead of Frosinone. Fiori's contract with Mantova is valid until June 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.50m. During the 2025/2026 Serie B season, he made 59 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists. Frosinone has a €1.5 million option to buy the player following his loan from Mantova. Reports in June 2026 suggest they are renegotiating for a fee between €600,000 and €700,000. A separate fee of €1.1 million was reportedly established in January 2026.
