Andrei Nicolescu, the president of Dinamo, confirmed that Antoine Baroan is a transfer option for the club, adding that coach Zeljko Kopic is in favor of the move. Baroan is close to departing from Rapid after a conflict with coach Costel Gâlcă resulted in his removal from the squad. Kopic's strong interest is due to having previously managed the player at Botev Plovdiv. Nicolescu said that Baroan is an option for Kopic, who is familiar with his style, but noted that the club is currently unaware of the potential conditions for a transfer or the player's own wishes. The French forward's contract with Rapid runs until the summer of 2028.
