They could go in with an offer if Sunderland do not go up via the play-offs. Patterson, who has also caught the attention of Tottenham and Burnley, has a chance to impress further in the upcoming play-offs against Coventry. Meanwhile, Ramsdale is expected to leave Southampton, which has prompted the club to also consider other goalkeeping options, including Yahia Fofana from Angers.
