Zulte Waregem will pay 750,000 euros to acquire Anosike Ementa from Viborg. The fee could increase to 1 million euros with bonuses. Zulte Waregem has been pursuing Ementa for over a month, and he will become their seventh signing of the summer.

Anosike Ementa, a 23-year-old Danish striker with Nigerian roots, is reportedly close to transferring to Zulte Waregem. The club is nearing an agreement with Viborg for the transfer. Ementa has scored fourteen goals and provided nine assists in 74 appearances over the past two years at Viborg. His height of 2.02m makes him a unique addition to the team, offering a different profile compared to current strikers Jelle Vossen and Tobias Hedl.

Zulte Waregem has been actively pursuing the signing of Anosike Ementa, having made several offers to bring him to Belgium. However, Viborg has turned down all of these proposals, as they are holding out for a fee of approximately 1 million euros for their striker. Ementa is currently bound by a contract with Viborg for another 18 months. Zulte Waregem is eager to acquire the player, with the aim of bolstering their attacking options. Standing at an impressive 2.02 meters, Ementa is recognized for his physical presence on the field, although he has not been a prolific goal scorer, tallying 13 goals and 7 assists in 71 appearances for Viborg over the last two years. In the past, AA Gent had expressed interest in Ementa, but a transfer did not come to fruition.
