Anes Cardaklija Transfer from GAIS to AIK

56m ago

AIK made an attempt to sign 21-year-old centre-back Anes Cardaklija, who holds both Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Swedish nationality, with GP reporting that Gais rejected a bid of just under ten million kronor. Greek club Panathinaikos also reportedly showed interest in the player. Gais's technical director, Magnus Sköldmark, stated to GP that the offer did not reach a point where it was a possible solution for the club to let him go. Sköldmark added that a move abroad could still happen as some transfer windows are not yet closed, and that a potential departure could not be ruled out. Cardaklija, who joined Gais in September 2022, has a contract until the end of 2028 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.00m. He has been capped twice for the Bosnia U21 national team and has made 13 appearances in the Allsvenskan this season, scoring one goal.
